Josh laid down his dream of professional basketball in 2008 when he declined the opportunity to play professionally in Europe. This was the first time in Josh’s life where he paused to ask the question, “God, what do YOU want me to do with my life?” The rest is history. Ministry was birthed in his heart, and he began to surrender to God’s will and pursue a deep, personal relationship with Jesus. He has since coached and taught in Christian school, directed a Dallas/Fort Worth non-profit organization for boys without fathers, attended and graduated from Christ for the Nations in Dallas Texas and Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding California, helped plant a young, thriving church in West Texas, and become a husband to the love of his life, Lindsay, and a father to three little world-changers, Dallas, August, and Caleb.
Each season of Josh’s journey has richly prepared him for the unique assignment and purpose that God has for his life. Josh’s dream is to see the church come fully alive by walking in supernatural freedom and power as individuals discover their true identity as a son or daughter of their Heavenly Father. His mandate is to encourage the church to return to its biblical foundation God established through partnership with Holy Spirit, who he refers to as, “God DAILY.”
The past 5 years Josh served in multiple roles at Renew Life Church in Midland, Texas, but most recently, he was a local director and the Sr. Associate Pastor. Josh considers it a privilege and honor to have worked for Renew Life and to have served alongside the Sr. Pastors, Braden and Leann Conner. He regularly admits he would not be half the leader he is today without their influence and support. Josh and his family recently moved from Midland, Texas back home to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in September 2018 and are excited and expectant for their new journey!
